OPPORTUNITY ANALYSIS

Every opportunity ranked by your logic, with the reasoning attached.

Henswick builds the workflow that pulls your data together, applies the criteria you define, holds back what is incomplete, and shows why each opportunity sits where it does, so your team decides from a ranked view instead of a spreadsheet.

THE PROBLEM

The spreadsheet ranks it. Nobody can say why.

Someone pulls figures from several systems, lines them up by hand and sorts. It produces an order, but not the reasons behind it, and the order only holds until the next export.

So the ranking gets argued about instead of used, and the opportunities that matter most are the ones most likely to be buried in a hidden column.

Rank 1 Harbor and Vale High ‖ Unknown 1 2 Northfield Textiles Medium ‖ Stale 2 3 Ashgrove Dental High ‖ Last week 3 4 Calder Robotics High ‖ Stale 4
1 Last touch comes from an export nobody dated.
2 A hidden column quietly changes the order.
3 The weights live in one formula only its author understands.
4 Values are pasted from several systems, so they drift apart.

THE LOGIC

Your logic, written down.

The workflow carries the way your business decides what deserves attention: which signals count, how much each one weighs, and which gaps stop an opportunity from being ranked at all.

If data is incomplete Held and not ranked, until the data arrives or the owner waives it.
If figures conflict Flagged for review, with both values shown.
If an owner disagrees Override allowed, and the reason is recorded.

Renewal timing The renewal window is open.
Open support issues Two issues are still open.
Account value Large account against your value bands.
Engagement Steady, so it adds little either way.
✓ Data check passed: every required field is present, so it is ranked.
What would change its rank ▼ If both open issues are resolved, it would likely fall behind Northfield Textiles. ▼ Under the Expansion first lens, it moves to #4.

THREE DECISIONS

One logic, three different decisions.

A ranking is only useful in the shape the decision needs. These examples are illustrative, and each ends in a tool your team already uses.

Deal prioritisation

A ranked queue, with the reasons on every row.

Open deals are scored against your criteria on a schedule. Each row shows what pushed it up and what is missing, and it lands with the deal owner.

Gates with evidence, and a person who decides.

Each tender is checked against your own go or no-go gates, with the evidence for each one. Gaps are held for the bid manager. The workflow never decides to bid for you.

THE OUTCOME

The ranking arrives where your team works, and a person decides.

The result is a regular update in the tools your team already uses, with the reasoning attached and the final call left to the owner.

01

Every rank has a reason you can read.

Each position comes with its score trace, so nobody has to defend a number they cannot explain.

02

People stay in charge of the decision.

Owners accept or override, and the reason is recorded next to the original ranking.

03

The logic changes without rebuilding the sheet.

Change a weight or a gate, and the next run reflects it in the same delivery.

Show us the analysis you rebuild every month.

A simple, fixed ranking may only need a spreadsheet formula. When it draws on several systems and needs rules, gates and a recorded decision, that is where a custom workflow earns its place.

What to bring
1 The decision you make repeatedly The ranking someone rebuilds every week or month.
2 The data you would use, and where it lives Systems, exports and sheets, and which one is right when they disagree.
3 Who acts on it, and how they would override The owner, the format, and what counts as a good reason to change the order.
